Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin says that President Vucic "declared war on the mafia years ago, and the latest arrests are just a continuation and the legally completed cases that have come to fruition."

"The fight against corruption is a process that is carried out every day. President Vucic declared war on the mafia years ago and the latest arrests are just a continuation and the legally concluded cases that have come to fruition. A 'color revolution' in Serbia could only slow down and not speed up any of the investigations, which, by looking at the case files, will be seen to have been conducted in line with the law and over a long period of time.

Serbia also owes special thanks to President Aleksandar Vucic because he protected members of our judiciary and security structures from media and political attacks and gave them firm and safe leadership. I congratulate the prosecutor's office, the UKP and the Security and Information Agency for their good and persistent work over many years, and especially for not allowing their work is stopped by the street and the threats that they would be fired and arrested because of their loyalty to the state," said Vulin.
