Petkovic to Kurti: "He's very nervous ahead of elections, shouldn't think Gazivode and north are his too soon"
Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic commented in a post on X Albin Kurti's statement for the media, in which the Albanian politician said that they will not share Lake Gazivode with anyone, and that with his government, the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) will not be formed.
"Kurti is seriously nervous before the elections, so he is intensifying his rhetoric and attacks on the Serb people. It's no use for him to deny and attack, because on February 9 he will have to recognize the victory of the Serb List and the Serb people! ZSO is ahead both for Kurti and his successor, because it's an obligation that Pristina undertook, and the European Union guaranteed!," posted Petkovic.
Petkovic added that just as election-related circumstances are not going Kurti's way, neither do those in the world, that are tripping him up more and more.
"For that reason, he should not declare the north and Lake Gazivode his own too soon," Petkovic posted.
