Australian audience delighted with what Djokovic had in store: He was on one side, and on the other...
Novak Djokovic arrived in Melbourne this week with his team and started preparations for the Australian Open, a Grand Slam that is definitely his favorite in terms of results.
Djokovic didn't manage to even reach the semifinals in Brisbane and is now working with coach Andy Marry to prepare for the new clashes, as he will have Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz again stand on his path to the 100th trophy.
He trained with the Spaniard on Tuesday, while on Wednesday he sparred with Andy, which triggered nostalgia for a large number of fans.
In the past they played a total of 36 matches, with Nole winning 25 of those, but now they are working towards a common goal. The audience, however, enjoyed the previous night's moments when they were on opposite sides of the net.
Novak is expecting the draw for the Australian Open soon.
