RHMZ's forecast: Unseasonably warm 19 degrees today, and here's when cold and rainy weather returns

During the day, the weather is expected to clear up with slightly to moderately cloudy skies and longer sunny intervals, and above average warm temperatures that will range from 9 to 19 degrees Celsius, the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ) has announced.

Unseasonably warm weather until Thursday, noticeable cooling from Friday

On Thursday, January 9, the weather will be slightly to moderately cloudy and warm, with longer sunny intervals during the day. Rain is expected only in the evening. The daily highs will range between 10 and 18 degrees, while it will be slightly colder in Negotinska Krajina, around 7 degrees.

Friday, January 10, brings stronger cloud cover and cooling with rain, accompanied by northwesterly wind gaining in strength. Precipitation will begin in the morning in the northwest of the country, and during the day it will spread to all parts of Serbia.

Snow is expected in the hills and on mountains accompanies by a drop in temperatures, while rain will turn into snow in some places in the lower regions of central and southern Serbia in the evening hours.

Saturday, January 11, will be significantly colder, while precipitation will end. The snow will continue in the first part of the day in the south of Serbia, and occasionally on the mountains during the afternoon.

Second decade of January

The coming period, from January 12 to 15, will be marked by dry and cold weather. More clouds with precipitation are forecast for January 15.

Hydrological announcement

In the next 48 hours, water levels of Djetinja, Moravica, Skrapes, Bjelica rivers and the upper course of Zapadna Morava will moderately to significantly increase, with the possibility of reaching warning levels.
