Movie-like chase and and shooting in Belgrade: Police arrest murder suspects, one officer wounded

Members of the criminal investigations police, UKP, in Belgrade tried to stop the driver of a Skoda, but he went in the opposite direction and continued to run away from them in his car.

According to unofficial information, they blocked his path, and several shots were fired. Reports said that a policeman has been wounded.

According to eyewitnesses, the chase, but also the shooting, was like in a movie.

"The police blocked his path near Batutova Street. The driver of the Skoda was then pulled out of the vehicle," said an eyewitnesses.

Telegraf has learned that two suspects in a recent mafia-style murder have been arrested. The victim was Nikola "Pivce" Stankovic, himself from a criminal background.
