Gasic: By participating in international military cooperation, we strengthen Ministry of Defense and Army

Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic says that by participating in international military cooperation, Serbia continues to improve its operational capabilities, knowledge and skills and strengthen the reputation of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Army.

Speaking at the 11th conference of defense envoys of the Republic of Serbia held in the Guard House in Belgrade, Gasic said that Serbia continues to be open to regional cooperation and cooperation with partners from other countries, while at the same time remaining committed to military neutrality.

"The Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Army will remain committed to preserving peace, stability, building trust with neighbors in the region and the EU perspective," Gasic said.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric spoke about the importance and role of envoys and foreign policy priorities, while the director of the Military Intelligence Agency, General Major Zoran Stojkovic, spoke about the importance of the conference.

The political and security situation in the region and the world and the contribution to the affirmation of Serbia and its defense system were discussed during the gathering.

This meeting represents the traditional format for the gathering of defense envoys, an opportunity to analyze the results of the work of defense delegations and provide the envoys with guidelines for future work.
