Brnabic congratulates believers in Serbia who celebrate Christmas according to Gregorian calendar

President of the Assembly of Serbia Ana Brnabic has extended her greetings to the Catholic Archbishop of Belgrade Cardinal Ladislav Nemet, and all Christian believers who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar.

Serbia's majority Eastern Orthodox Christians will celebrate Christmas on January 7.

"On behalf of the National Assembly and on my own behalf, I send my sincere congratulations to all Christian believers who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar, with the wish that they spend the holidays in health, peace and joy, surrounded by family and loved ones," Brnabic stated, according to the Assembly, and added:

"May the spirit of Christmas bring love, understanding and solidarity to all homes and may it inspire us to build a better society for everyone. Merry Christmas."

President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Milos Vucevic have also extended their greetings to those who celebrate the holiday according to the Gregorian calendar.
