President Vucic reacts to horrific attack at Zagreb elementary school

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has reacted to a horrific knife attack that happened in an elementary school in Zagreb, Croatia, in which a 7-year-old child was killed.

"I was deeply shaken by the news of the terrible attack in an elementary school in Zagreb. In these difficult and painful moments, our thoughts are with the families of the victims, all the casualties, as well as with the citizens of Croatia. The Republic of Serbia expresses its sincere condolences and support to them in this tragedy," the president of Serbia posted on X.

A 19-year-old is reported to have entered the Zagreb school this morning, stabbing one child to death and injuring two more and a teacher, before unsuccessfully attempting to commit suicide.

The teacher was in critical condition as of Friday afternoon.
