"23 tons of concrete were removed from a woman": Dacic reveals gruesome details about railway station collapse
Protests in Serbia have been going on continuously for less than two months. Interior Minister Ivica Dacic spoke exclusively for Blic about how they reflect on the stability and security in the country and when the investigation into the tragedy in Novi Sad will receive the final epilogue.
Ivica Dacic said that the investigation is very complicated and it must show what caused the tragedy. The expert opinion about the cause is one thing, and the other is who made the mistake.
"Those processes take a long time. When tragedies happened before, there were no protests. From the first moment it was clear that the consequences would be severe. The injuries were so severe that only two people survived. I saw a woman, only her head could move, 23 tons of concrete were removed from her," says Dacic.
