Ministry of Interior reacts to Amnesty International report about forensic tools used in Serbia

In connection to an Amnesty International report related to the use of forensic tools, the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs the public that within the National Center for Criminal Forensics, Technical Directorate, forensic tools are used exclusively in accordance with the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Serbia.

"We also note that the forensic tool is used in the same way by other police forces around the world, and that the claims made in the Amnesty International report are absolutely incorrect," the MUP said.
