Dacic: Serbia to head Interpol's regional center for Southeast Europe

Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic said today that Serbia will be at the helm of Interpol's regional center for 15 Southeastern European states, and assessed that this is historic news for our country.

Dacic said that a meeting of police chiefs from Southeast Europe is being held in Belgrade today and that Interpol President Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi
is visiting, who will also meet with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
"Serbia will be at the forefront of Interpol's fight against organized crime. This is great, historic news for Serbia," Dacic told RTS this morning.
The General Assembly of the Southeast Europe Police Chiefs Association (SEPCA) is being held today in Belgrade.
