Serb List submits names of its candidates in Kosovo and Metohija elections
The Serb List has submitted a list of its candidates to the Central Election Commission in Pristina, who will run in the upcoming parliamentary elections in so-called Kosovo, which should be held on February 9, 2025.
"We promised you that we will fight for the rights of our people in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija using all democratic means, that we will fight to survive and stay in these areas and that we will never give up, that we will never back down before those who do not wish our people well. Today, as always, I am with the Serb people, with my comrades, on a list of Serb harmony and Serb unity, on a list that has 48 names and on which you will see many new ones," said Serb List leader Zlatan Elek, and added:
"It is an honor and a pleasure that our deans, professors, distinguished doctors, judges, stand with the Serb List in this most difficult moment in the struggle for the interests of the Serb people in the area of Kosovo and Metohija. As you can see, our Serb heroine Dragica Gasic is also on this list, who is the only Serb living in Djakovica, who shows with her personal example and courage how we should fight for the interests of the Serb people in the area of Kosovo and Metohija."
"Today, as you can see, we come from all parts of Kosovo and Metohija and are determined to fight for the ten parliamentary seats and we will certainly win all ten seats reserved for the Serb community. For Milos, Nikola, Kristijan, Dara, Stefan and for all our unjustly imprisoned brothers, we are going into this democratic battle stronger than ever, because we know what we are defending and what we are fighting for. And finally, long live Serb harmony, long live Serb unity, long live the Serb List and long live the state of Serbia," said Elek.
