Doctor speaks about Milorad Dodik's health: PM Vucevic and Patriarch Porfirije visit him in hospital
Prime Minister Milos Vucevic and Patriarch Porfirije visited today President of the Serb Republic (RS) Milorad Dodik, who is recovering in a hospital in Belgrade after undergoing surgery.
"Together with His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, I visited the president of the Serb Republic, Milorad Dodik, who is recovering after a successful surgery. I wish him a speedy recovery and that we continue to work for the benefit of the citizens of our Serbia and the RS," Vucevic wrote on Instagram.
The director of the MediGroup General Hospital in Belgrade, Slavko Matic, said today that Milorad Dodik is stable and that the postoperative period is proceeding as expected.
"Today, the patient is in the ward and his recovery is continuously monitored," Dr. Matic told Srna.
Dodik had stomach and esophagus surgery yesterday in Belgrade. The doctors said it was complicated, but successful, and he is now recovering.
