"The law on the register of agents of foreign influence in Serbia is a bill submitted by two deputies (MPs) from the Movement of Socialists. We think it is needed, we think it is necessary. The main lever of every colored revolution are non-governmental organizations, they serve to wage a hybrid war against Serbia", Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin told B92 and added that from that group, he leaves out those non-governmental organizations that deal with children, protection of vulnerable groups and those actually dealing with ecology.

Vulin pointed out that non-governmental organizations, of which there are tens of thousands and are always financed from abroad, for various projects - "counting birds in parks, making strategic analyses and studies of future events in the Balkans, on the Mars, wherever they go, actually above all serve to collect money."

"The vast majority of non-governmental organizations serve to collect money, further distribute it among those who will carry out certain tasks, then to put pressure on those in power and also to change public opinion. I completely leave out organizations that deal with children, those that are really dealing with ecology, protection of vulnerable groups, but you can see what these non-governmental organizations do."

He added that when someone opens a day care center for children with developmental disabilities, you see what they do, where the money goes, what the purpose of the involvement is.

"But when an organization called, for example, 'the Center for Strategic Studies of the Security Situation and Euro-Atlantic Integrations' and has millions of euros that it spends on some kind of consulting, suddenly gets a huge number of volunteers who are paid, and you find all these volunteers at demonstrations, and suddenly they print some posters that they pay with the money that was earmarked for ringing finches - then you see what the so-called non-governmental organizations serve to do. They are not non-governmental, they are dependent on other governments that give them money, have no doubt about that."

"Why is it a problem to know where your money is coming from, who you are getting money from and how and on what you spend it? I know that we are not America where, for example, funding from abroad is prohibited. You cannot get money from China (in the US). There is no money from Russia, It's not possible. So what's the problem with the same happening here?," the Serbian deputy prime minister said.

"I'm just interested in why we can't have transparent financing of the so-called non-governmental sector and who is the non-governmental sector? Is it that Youth Initiative which claims that we committed genocide in Srebrenica and that Kosovo is a state? Should that be financed in Serbia? How many organizations do you think there are in Israel that consider Israel not to be a state, and get funding? Hardly.

And how many non-governmental organizations are there among the Siptars (Albanians) that say that Kosovo is Serbia? Let's have one youth initiative for human rights in Pristina that says - Kosovo is Serbia, and see how much money they get from anyone. You won't find them, because they serve to wage a hybrid war against Serbia, not against Kurti, against Serbia," said Aleksandar Vulin.
