The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zrenjanin has filed an indictment with the Higher Court in this city against K.R. (18) and K.Z. (33), both from Backo Petrovo Selo.

They are charged with the crime of complicity in committing aggravated murder, which happened on July 19.
The two of them, together with a 14-year-old boy, broke into a house in Backo Petrovo Selo, with the intention of robbing it.
They killed the owner of the house, B.P. (74), whose body was found on July 19, in the morning hours, in the hallway of the house.
The police were informed about the crime by a relative of the victim and arrived to find a horrible scene.
Z.K. and R.K. were then detained for 48 hours and afterwards brought, with a criminal complaint, before the senior public prosecutor in Zrenjanin, while the 14-year-old was brought before the competent judge of the Higher Court in Zrenjanin.
They beat her with a blunt object
In the meantime, an autopsy report was submitted to the prosecution, and forensic medical examination was also carried out.
"It follows from the documentation that the now-deceased B.P. was hit by the suspects many times with a blunt object, inflicting many severe, life-threatening bodily injuries, as a result of which the victim died," announced the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zrenjanin.
Otherwise, this village has for years been "ruled" by a gang harassing the elderly. Although they get arrested, after receiving suspended sentences, these thugs go back to their old ways.
