Director of the Serbian Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy Arno Gujon(Arnaud Gouillon) has said that there have been 31 attacks perpetrated by Albanians against Serb cultural goods in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija since last year until today.

Since the beginning of this year, there have been as many as 113 attacks on Serbs living there.

According to the Office, Gujon pointed out that those buildings, monuments, as well as people, are in danger.

"I spoke on that topic, in French, at UNESCO. By preserving the holy places, preserving the monuments, we also preserve the people who live there and who in fact founded that unique culture that is still alive today in Kosovo and Metohija," Gujon said.

He stressed that cultural goods in Kosovo and Metohija being in danger was the reason for an exhibition recently opened in Paris, at UNESCO, which is dedicated to Serb cultural goods that are inscribed on the List of World Heritage in Danger.

World media published our statement about Kurti's fake news

Gujon added that it is clear that a hybrid war was attempted against Serbia over the weekend, that Belgrade has nothing to do with the incident on the Ibar-Lepenac canal, and that the Office reacted immediately and sent a statement to media outlets around the world.

Gujon said that the Office sent the statement in French, Italian and English to those media that had published Albin Kurti's false news about Serbia causing the incident.

"We tried to make sure all the media, which published something negative about Serbia, published the reaction of President Aleksandar Vucic and Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric as well, which they did. With that, we repaired the damage in a way," Gujon told TV Prva.

According to this Serbian official, it is obvious that Pristina is trying to occupy the north of Kosovo and Metohija using its security forces, which, he pointed out, is a violation of public international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1244, according to which only KFOR can act as a military force in the territory of the province, adding that the goal (of Pristina) is also to declare the Serb List "a terrorist organization."
