Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic commented for RTS on the intrusion of members of the so-called of Kosovo police into central Serbia.

"Albin Kurti ordered this on purpose, he expected that these persons would be killed and that this would be the reason to drag NATO into a conflict with Serbia," said Vucic.

"This is yet another conscious and planned attempt to cause an incident and violate the agreements by the provisional Pristina institutions led by Albin Kurti. The Ministry of Defense is demanding from KFOR, as the only legal and legitimate military force in the area of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, to take measures in accordance with its mandate and prevent the provisional Pristina authorities from trying to escalate violence in our southern province.

Albin Kurti's order for members of the so-called Kosovo police to cross the administrative line represents a dangerous provocation and a threat to peace. The Serbian Army units in the Ground Safety Zone are monitoring the situation and are ready to react according to the provisions of the Military-Technical Agreement," said the Ministry of Defense.
