The first basic public prosecutor's office in Belgrade has filed an indictment to the court against I.I.B. (35) and S.P. (32), after conducting an investigation.

The prosecution acted on suspicion that in the period from October 2023 to April 2024, they illegally obtained 200,000 euros by falsely presenting the facts, misleading R.P. by convincing him they can ensure and speed up the process of admission to the citizenship of the Republic of Serbia for three citizens of the Russian Federation.

In this way, they committed fraud. I.I.B. is charged with the commission of the same criminal act at the expense of A.I., a citizen of the Russian Federation, who gave her 76,000 euros believing he and his wife would become Serbian citizens.

The prosecution proposed to the First Basic Court in Belgrade to declare I.I.B. (35) guilty of committing two criminal acts of fraud, and impose a single sentence of imprisonment lasting three years and a fine in the amount of RSD 300,000.

At the same time, the prosecution wants S.P. to be found guilty, imprisoned for two years, and fined with 200,000 dinars.
