Stano: New round of Belgrade-Pristina technical level dialogue to be held on October 24 in Brussels
A new round of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina at the technical level will be held on Thursday, October 24, in Brussels, European Commission spokesman Peter Stano confirmed for Tanjug.
The last time chief negotiators from Belgrade and Pristina each met with EU envoy Lajcak in Brussels was on September 17, but no tripartite meeting was held then as part of the dialogue, which is being conducted with the mediation of the EU.
Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and Belgrade's chief negotiator Petar Petkovic said at the time that the tripartite meeting with Pristina and the EU did not take place because it was rejected by Pristina's chief negotiator Besnik Bislimi.
The Belgrade delegation insisted on topics such as ZSO (the Community of Serb Municipalities), the functioning of the postal service and the issue of implementation of previous agreements, and presented measures aimed at protecting the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija.
