Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today that Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala will soon come to Serbia, that he expects that economic cooperation between the two countries will strengthen, and that the participation of the Czech Republic in our infrastructure projects will increase.

During a tour in Arandjelovac of the new Knjaz Milos production facility for PET packaging and cans, considering that Knjaz Milos is owned by the Czech company Mattoni, Vucic was asked by a Czech journalist if he was satisfied with that investment, and replied that it was a large investment of almost 30 million euros, which should not be underestimated.

"It's a big and important investment for us. It is especially important considering the brand that is Knjaz Milos, one of the most important brands in our country. Also, our cooperation with the Czech Republic is growing, we will soon hold a meeting of the Mixed Committee, and Prime Minister Petr Fiala will arrive soon," announced Vucic.

He added that he expects a significant participation of the Czech Republic in our infrastructure projects and that this cooperation can grow.

"I am very proud of this project and everyone from the Czech Republic can be satisfied. I am happy that this is possible today in Serbia," said Vucic.

Vucic recalled that he recently met with the former president of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman, and with the former prime minister, Andrej Babis, and that he expects people from Czech companies to visit soon.

The hosts showed Vucic the entire production process, which is fully automated, at the end of which robots arrange the packages.

They also informed him that these products are exported to Hungary, Austria and Croatia.

When asked by journalists about green energy and the beginning of construction of a solar power plant, Vucic said that the road is ahead of us and that we still have a lot to do in terms of green energy.
