14-year-old K.K., suspected of committing mass murder at the Vladislav Ribnikar Elementary School in central Belgrade last year, will continue, as a witness, to answer questions from the parents of the students who were killed.

Because of his age, K.K. is not on trial. The defendants in the case arethe boy's parents Vladimir and Miljana Kecmanovic, as well as shooting range instructor Nemanja Marinkovic. The trial is being held in the Special Court in Belgrade for security reasons.

The fourth defendant, the owner of the shooting range, Ratko Ivanovic, admitted that he made a false statement, entered into a plea agreement with the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office, and was sentenced to six months under house arrest.

During the investigation of the horrific crime - which is suspected to have been committed by the then 13-year-old K.K. at 8:40 am on May 3, 2023, when he shot and killed 9 students and a janitor, and wounded six students and a teacher - forensic examination of his phone revealed that, among other things, he had photos of weapons.

After the crime was committed, the police officers found two gas pistols on K.K.'s desk, while there were Molotov cocktails in his backpack, Kurir is reporting.

At least 7 pieces of evidence were found during the expert examination, as Telegraf previously revealed.

"A gun, Molotov cocktails, a telephone, a computer, his wardrobe, as well as personal notes were found - his notebooks, the books he was reading... And the key evidence came from surveillance cameras in the school, the footage of this unprecedented massacre. The computer was examined literally from the day K.K. started using it," a source revealed for Telegraf at the time.

The video surveillance was working, and the footage is now a part of the evidence. The assistant principal of the school called the police after the crime, but so did the boy killer. The police arrived after 10 minutes and took the shooter into custody.

The boy had entered the school at 8:40 am, and two minutes later called the police. He committed the crime using a CZ99 pistol that he took from his father, a well-known radiologist.

After the arrest, another gun and 4 Molotov cocktails were found in his backpack. He went to school that morning carrying five pistol clips, the source told Telegraf.
