"After the census, which was conducted faster than the Chinese one, involving a slightly smaller number of inhabitants, Montenegro finally found out how many Montenegrins, Serbs, Bosniaks, and Albanians live in it, and there is nothing to comment on there, but there is something to say about a statement made by a certain Zivkovic, the president of the DPS party," said Aleksandar Vulin, Serbia's deputy PM, and added:

"Zivkovic says that based on the number of Serbs and Montenegrins, he sees that 'Serbian engineering' has failed. I don't know why the increased number of Serbs and the reduced percentage of Montenegrins gives him such joy, but I know that the Serbs in Montenegro are not the product of anyone's engineering, but an autochthonous people who created Montenegro and are still creating it. Many nations arose from the great Serbian people, but the Serbian people did not arise from any other.

I am glad that Zivkovic, regardless of what he is saying, does so speaking Serbian, so that we Serbs can understand him. Either that, or we've all started speaking Montenegrin out of the blue."
