Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin has met with the head of Rosseti Group Andrei Ryumin.

During the meeting, the key results of the negotiations held as part of the business visit of a Russian delegation to Belgrade were discussed. Vulin thanked Ryumin for Rosseti Group delegation's visit and added that he was looking forward to continued cooperation.

"Serbia is the only country in Europe that has not imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation, something we are proud of. Serbia will not change its policy and become part of the anti-Russian hysteria. Your investments and people are completely safe in our country. We are not a country that will, like some others, grab your property," stressed the Serbian deputy prime minister.

Andrei Ryumin noted the great attention that Aleksandar Vulin pays to the development of relations between the Russian Federation and Serbia and thanked him for his participation in the organization of the visit.

"We had a very busy agenda, within which we were able to outline areas of work in common interest. I will highlight the exchange of experiences in the design, operation and management of the (electric) grid complex, as well as the challenges of digital transformation. Also, an urgent task for all countries today is to ensure infrastructure security, including information infrastructure. This issue can become another topic of cooperation between Russian and Serbian energy companies," said Ryumin.

A special topic were preparations for the 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Serbian Committee for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, which will be held in November in Saint Petersburg under the chairmanship of Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov and Serbian Minister Nenad Popovic, who is responsible for international economic cooperation.

Aleksandar Vulin and Andrei Ryumin also discussed possible directions and practical cooperation tasks between Rosseti Group and Serbian energy companies.
