The Serb hopes that this could translate into a second ring in three years, but also likes to have a period of rest and relaxation between seasons. This is evident in the videos of Jokic taken every summer.
And there's even a photo from a bakery in his hometown in northern Serbia, right before his trip to the US.
This summer he was in Sombor several times to see his horses, "recharge batteries," and in the meantime win Olympic bronze with Serbia.
In the end, "Jokara," as he is known in Serbia, gave himself a breather at the local bakery, with slice of burek (puff pastry filled with cheese or meat) and yogurt!
That's in the caption of the photo taken by a couple of girls who did not want to interrupt him, but they immortalized a classic Nikola moment.
We hope that he liked this meal and that while in Denver, he will be able to find at least something similar to what he likes to have in Sombor, and at the end of the season, win another trophy.
