The Interior Ministry (MUP) has filed a criminal complaint against N.DJ. (22), who was arrested in Lazarevac on suspicion that he set fire to his grandparents' house.

The complaint was filed on the order of the prosecution in this municipality of Belgrade, and accuses the man of committing domestic violence.

During the questioning, the suspect exercised his legal right to remain silent. The prosecution suggested to the court that he should be detained in order not to influence witnesses.

As previously reported by Telegraf, two days ago he first had an argument with his grandparents and then in order to take revenge on them, set fire to the a pile of firewood, then a shed, and finally their house.

The grandparents were in the house during that time, and he was shouting from the outside that he was going to "burn them alive."

Fortunately, nobody was injured. Firefighters quickly put out the fire.

The police were called by the grandmother, who told them that they have been having problems with the grandson for a while.
