Indictment for murder of 2-year-old Danka: Prosecutor's Office makes statement for Telegraf

An indictment has been raised for the murder of Danka Ilic (2).

"The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zajecar on September 24 filed an indictment against the defendant Dejan Dragijevic from the village of Zlot and the defendant Srdjan Jankovic from the village of Luka, the town of Bor," the prosecution has told Telegraf.rs.

The indictment accuses them of "the criminal offense of committing aggravated murder, while the defendant Radoslav Dragijevic is also accused of the criminal offense of failure to report a crime and the perpetrator and helping the perpetrator of a criminal act after the crime has been committed," the prosecution said.

The prosecution has requested that the custody of the defendants Dejan Dragijevic and Srdjan Jankovic be extended by the Higher Court in Zajecar.

If found guilty they face life imprisonment.
