A serious traffic accident occurred this morning on the main Prijepolje-Nova Varos road when two passenger vehicles collided head-on.

Three people were injured and taken to the nearest hospital.
"The scenes at the site were horrific. The fronts of the cars were almost completely crushed, the airbags deployed. One car ended up off the road due to the force of the impact. Road maintenance workers happened to be nearby and immediately came to help," one of the eyewitnesses told RINA.
Vehicles with Serbian and Montenegrin license plates were involved in the collision.
Traffic on this section of the road was slow this morning, with a long line of vehicles forming.
