Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today in Stanari, in the Serb Republic (RS, the Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH) that Serbia will always be there to be a guarantor of peace and a guarantor of compliance with the Dayton Agreement, but also as guarantor of the existence and survival of the RS.

"And that is something that no one can take away from us. And everything is in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement. We have always told them that we respect BiH, but also the RS and its integrity within BiH," Vucic said in Stanari at the opening of the reconstructed Health Center, financed by the Republic of Serbia.

Vucic said that the RS and Serbia will never go against each other's interests, nor will they allow the Serb people to be endangered, and that both sides will continue to develop despite pressure.

He added that such action between Serbia and the RS was agreed upon with RS President Milorad Dodik, and Vucic thanked him for that.

"Not only do you have with you a president of Serbia who loves Serbia as much as yours and his own RS, but you also have a people in Serbia who love the RS, just as much as you love Serbia," said Vucic.

Vucic recalled that even in the difficult war years, when the Serbs in Serbia and in the RS needed unity and togetherness more than today, we could behave "unwisely," "buiding dams, imposing sanctions on each other and spoking badly of each other, while today, the situation is different."

"We have never had such smartly arranged, balanced and good relations between Serbs in the RS, Serbs in Serbia, if you will, and citizens of Serbia and citizens in the RS. We don't have a problem with anyone else, we respect Bosniaks, Croats, Albanians and we have nothing against anyone, we just want our people to be on their own - for international rules to be respected," said Vucic.

He also assessed that citizens in Serbia and the RS want the Dayton Peace Agreement to be respected, as well as that Serbs do not want "to be constantly blamed for everything."

"And that is why Serbia will always be there as a guarantor of peace and a guarantor of compliance with the Dayton Agreement, but also a guarantor of the existence and survival of the RS. And that is something that no one can take away from us. And it's all in line with the Dayton Peace Accords. We have always told them that we respect BiH, but also the RS and its integrity within BiH. And they always had only the worst words about us," said Vucic.

He also said that great powers know what Serbia will never allow.

"We will never allow anyone to existentially endanger, carry out pogroms and persecution of the Serb people. And that is something that must be clear to everyone,"said Vucic.

He assessed that it is incredible that the RS is managing to survive despite all pressure from the outside and added that it is because of all the hardworking people who believe in Serbia.

"On that road, you will have the support of Serbia in every development project, wherever we can," said Vucic.

He added that Serbia knows that it will always find love and unconditional support in the RS.

"This health center is not a monument to Serbia or to me. This health center will be used by residents of Stanari. It will serve your children. It will serve your elders. It will serve you to provide them with best treatments. As far as I understand, 59 people will get jobs, both medical and non-medical workers. Probably a little later, even more," concluded Vucic.
