Vucic: I am happy to have shown Macron the best and most beautiful that Serbia has to offer
"Feel at home," Vucic told the French president
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic on Friday hosted a lunch in honor of President of France Emmanuel Macron at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, in the northern province of Vojvodina.
On that occasion, the president took pictures with Macron, and then pointed out how happy he was that he had the opportunity to show him some of the most beautiful landscapes of Serbia.
"I am happy that I was able to show President Emmanuel Macron the best and most beautiful that Serbia has to offer, and that is certainly also this view from the Petrovaradin Fortress and the Vojvodina specialties," Vucic wrote on Instagram.
The president pointed out that Serbia has a lot to offer.
"France is known as a country of tourism, good food and wine, and I am convinced that our Vojvodina, with its endless fields, bermet (wine) and kulen (sausage), but also cultural diversity, can stand next to Provence and not be ashamed.
Once again, welcome to our beautiful Serbia, President Macron. Feel at home," said Vucic.
