The Serbian football team will gather in a few days before the Nations League games against Spain and Denmark and a new cycle of competitions, after the debacle at the European Championship.

Our team will play  two extremely difficult games, and head coach Dragan Stojkovic Piksi is facing a headache regarding the lineup.

After Dusan Vlahovic, who announced he would not join the team for family reasons, now Al Hilal footballers Aleksandar Mitrovic and Sergej Milinkovic Savic have done the same due to injuries, it has been confirmed for Telegraf.

They have sent a written notice before the final list of players gets announced on Friday. The question now arises as to who will be there, and what the Serbian team will look like.

Certainly different compared to the previous period, since in addition to the said trio, Dusan Tadic has retired from the national squad.

It is interesting that Mitrovic and Milinkovic Savic played for Al Hilal on Wednesday, when Mitrovic scored a brace. During that game, there were no indications that either had any problems with injuries.

Piksi now has only three potential attackers at his disposal and they are Luka Jovic, Petar Ratkov, and Mihailo Ivanovic.
