ATP ranking after Sinner doping scandal: He has points deducted, here's what it means for Novak
Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic retained the second place in the latest ATP ranking which was published today, while the Italian Jannik Sinner is still in the first.
The Italian has 9,360 points, while Djokovic is second with 7,460.
Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is the third with 7,360 points, followed by German Alexander Zverev and Russian Daniil Medvedev.
Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev is the sixth-ranked in the world, followed by Pole Hubert Hurkacz, Norwegian Casper Ruud, Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov and Australian Alex de Minaur.
As for the other Serbian tennis players, Miomir Kecmanovic lost one spot and is currently the 54th player in the world with 940 points, while Dusan Lajovic retained the 66th place on the ATP ranking with 811 points.
Laslo Djere went from 100th to 109th with 531 points, while Hamad Medjedovic is the 137th tennis player in the world. Medjedovic collected 431 points.
The next ATP ranking will be published in two weeks, after the US Open, which starts today in New York.
Novak Djokovic is defending his title at the last Grand Slam tournament of this season.
