Serbia must not forget, 21 years since the crime in Gorazdevac, in Kosovo and Metohija

"21 years ago on the river Bistrica in the village of Gorazdevac, two Serb boys, Ivan Jovovic and Pantelija Dakic, were shot dead, while, and four other children were wounded. No one has been brought to justice for their deaths, nor for the lives marked by death and wounds. No EU, EULEX, NATO gathering had their deaths as a topic. Every year, Siptars (Albanians) desecrate a monument with their names. Ivan and Pantelija are remembered by their killers, but also by their families and their people," said Aleksandar Vulin.

"Those who were under obligation to protect them or at least find and punish their killers have long since forgotten them. EULEX stopped the investigation, and the EU never asked its police why they were no longer looking for the murderers.

Serbia must not forget, and Serbs must not stop strengthening their state. If we forget and if we lose our state, the endless series of murdered Serb children will continue," Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin stated on the 21st anniversary of the Gorazdevac massacre.
