The Serbian water polo team managed to reach the final of the Olympic Games in Paris, after defeating the US in the semifinals (10-6). Now the squad are waiting to learn if their rival for the gold medal will be Hungary or Croatia.

After the game, head coach Uros Stevanovic made a brief statement for RTS, saying that the team played very well.

"Yes, as the tournament went on, we played the best two games, we can be satisfied with the excellent defense when we were a player down, I congratulate the guys, the staff and everyone with us. It must also be kept in mind that we need to recover as quickly as possible and as much as possible for the final game."

Stevanovic was also asked who he would prefer his team to face in the final.

"As before, we don't have any particular wish, nor choice, the most important thing is to recover and play better, whether it's Hungary or Croatia, it will be another big derby."

Finally, Stevanovic said he is hoping for Olympic gold.
