Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic reminded in a post on X that half a year ago, Albin Kurti called into question the survival of the Serb people by unlawfully banning the Serbian dinar in Kosovo and Metohija.

"Through seven rounds of negotiations in Brussels, Pristina refused every constructive proposal coming from Belgrade. Kurti's only goal is to expel the Serb people from Kosovo and Metohija by causing a humanitarian disaster," wrote Petkovic.

He added that Kurti at the time threatened the work of hospitals, kindergartens, schools, went after the socially disadvantaged and the elderly, prohibited payments of financial resources.

"The state of Serbia will continue to regularly pay salaries, pensions, social welfare and all other benefits... and that will remain so!," Petkovic wrote.
