The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, has reacted to the news that the EU Council has decided to cancel visas for holders of Serbian passports from Kosovo and Metohija.

He posted on X that Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija will be able to travel without visas, as promised by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.

"Finally, good news for our people in KiM (Kosovo and Metohija)! The EU Council decided on visa liberalization for Serbian passports issued by the Coordination Directorate. Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija will be able to travel without visas, as promised by Aleksandar Vucic," wrote Petkovic.

"This victory also shows that we are not giving up the fight for the rights of our people in Kosovo and Metohija," he stressed.
