The hottest city this morning was in Belgrade, Veliko Gradiste and Banatski Karlovci, where it was 28 degrees at 7 o'clock in the morning.

In other places, the temperature was above 20 degrees early on Wednesday, and the coldest this morning was in Sjenica, a mountain town in the southwest, with 14 degrees.
The red weather alert was still in effect this morning in Pomoravlje, eastern and southeastern Serbia, as well as in Kosovo and Metohija, while the orange weather alert has been declared in other parts of the country.
The weather will remain very warm today with the highs ranging from 35 degrees in the northwest and west to 39 degrees in the east and southeast of the country.
By the end of the week, the temperature will be in a smaller, gradual decline. Tomorrow will still be hot, from 35 to 38, and on Friday and during the weekend in most places from 32 to 35 degrees.
Nights with temperature never dropping below 20 degrees are still expected in urban areas.
When it comes to Belgrade, very warm weather will continue today with the highest temperature around 37 degrees.
By the end of the week, there will be a gradual decline, so around 33 degrees is expected for the weekend. The nights, however, will remain hot.
