President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic was in Cairo on Sunday where he expressed concern about the attack on Donald Trump and said that he hopes that the madness of hatred that is spreading all over the world will stop, wishing Trump at the same time a speedy recovery.

"I would like to once again express my concern about the terrible events that took place last night (Saturday) in the US, the assassination attempt on the former president and, more importantly, on a presidential candidate, Donald Trump. I wish him good health and a speedy recovery," Vucic told reporters after a meeting in Cairo with the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church and Patriarch Tawadros II of Alexandria.

Vucic said that he hoped that the madness of hatred spreading around the world will stop and that there will be greater respect.

"And that there will be less aggression, especially from those who always blame others for being aggressive, but most often the attacks come from that side. I believe in the strength of the American people to overcome all this and the belief that we in Serbia will also manage to keep our sanity and understand how important peace is and how important stability is, and to push the country forward,"  stressed Vucic.
