M.M. (44) from Belgrade, who has been arrested for endangering security because he set fire to his ex-partner's BMW in Vozdovac, Belgrade was reported to the police just a few hours prior for domestic violence, Telegraf.rs has learned.

Namely, he called the ex on her phone, threatened her and called her abusive names. At one point, he even came to the door of the apartment and said that he was going to "kill her and her whole family."

The woman reported him to the police.

An emergency measure was imposed banning him from communicating with or approaching the victim.

However, that didn't stop him either, so a few hours later, according to unofficial information, he set his ex's parked BMW on fire.

The prosecution ordered the police to detain him for up to 48 hours.
