Belgrade City Electoral Commission: Additional checks show full legitimacy of electoral process
Additional inspection at 32 polling stations indicated the full legitimacy of the electoral process
President of the Belgrade City Election Commission (GIK) Zoran Lukic said today that additional inspection of 32 polling stations, requested by the "Biramo Beograd Dobrica Veselinovic - Milos Pavlovic" list, did not reveal any irregularities in the electoral process, which he assessed indicates its full legitimacy.
"The aforementioned electoral list requested access to voter registers at 32 polling stations, so that they could check the number of registered voters in relation to July 2023, the number of registered voters at a single address, whether certain persons voted and any other potential irregularities, which they spoke about publicly," said Lukic.
According to him, on Thursday, June 6, authorized persons from the "Biramo Beograd" coalition inspected all 32 requested voter records, in order to make sure the data was correct and accurate.
"After inspecting the requested 32 voter registers, the authorized persons from the 'Biramo Beograd' coalition did not observe any irregularity, nor did they note any objection to the reports (from polling stations), in any of the 32 voter lists which were inspected, which indicates the full legitimacy of the electoral process," said Lukic.
Lukic spoke for Beoinfo and recalled that on June 5, this electoral list submitted a request to inspect election material related to the Belgrade City Assembl vote, that was held on June 2.
