Novak Djokovic took to social media today, for the first time since undergoing meniscus repair surgery yesterday, following the injury he sustained during this year's French Open.

The best Serbian tennis player was injured during the match against Francisco Cerundolo, whom he defeated in five sets, but then had to withdraw from the tournament due to a partial meniscus tear.
His message via social networks is that he had a difficult decision to make and that he is immensely grateful to the doctors.
"In the past day, I had to make some tough decisions after sustaining a meniscus tear during my last match. I'm still processing it all but I am happy to update you that the surgery went well.
I am so appreciative of the team of doctors who have been by my side," Novak wrote.
