The first WiFi Tree for free internet in the City Municipality of Zvezdara - the 30th in the territory of Belgrade - has been installed in a park near the 6th Belgrade Grammar School, the president of municipality, Vladan Jeremic, told Tanjug.

He said that he was glad that the first WiFi Tree in Zvezdara was placed in that park because a large number of people go there and now have the opportunity to use free internet.

Jeremic thanked Telekom Srbija for the long-standing successful cooperation and expressed the hope that the good cooperation between the City Municipality of Zvezdara and the Telekom Srbija company will contribute to other parts of the municipality receiving such devices.

He stated that it was the 30th WiFi Tree installed by Telekom in the territory of Belgrade, while a total of 78 have been installed in Serbia.

"By installing this WiFi Tree, users can use free high-speed internet within a radius of 60 to 80 meters, and the maximum number of users who can log in at the same time is 230, which, we hope, meets the needs of those coming to this park," Jeremic said.
