"I buried my father in the house, then poured concrete over him": David confesses in detail how he hid body

For eight years, no one knew that Branislav had died

David D. (53), accompanied by two defense attorneys, went to the Third Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade to report that eight years ago he found his fatherm Branislav D., dead, and then decided to bury him in the house where he lived.

As David D. told the prosecution, he came to his father's house in October 2016 and found him dead on the couch. He then dug a hole in the floor one meter deep into which he buried the body.

"After I buried my father, I filled that part of the floor with concrete. Then I put linoleum on top," David D. told the prosecution.

He explained that he did it so that he could continue to receive his father's pension, since he already had the power of attorney and was able to withdraw the money.

As a neighbor told Telegraf.rs, she had heard from Branislav about his son David. She said she only saw him twice. Once while his father was still in the house and once after his disappearance.

However, the neighbor did not know that Branislav had disappeared. When she asked about Branislav, with whom she said she had a great friendly relationship, his son told her that his father was in a nursing home.

"I told him that I would really like to visit him, but he replied that his father is senile and no longer recognizes people," said the neighbor.

Eight years after Branislav disappeared, the remains of his body have been found in his own home.
