The Serb List reacted to the incursion of the so-called of the Kosovo police into the branches of Postanska Stedionica in Kosovska Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposavic, to say that the persecution of everything that is Serb in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija continues, in accordance with the order and plans of Prime Minister of the provisional institutions of Pristina Albin Kurti.

"The violent incursion into the premises of the Postanska Stedionica Bank and the mistreatment of the employees, by Kurti's phalanxes armed to the teeth, is a response to the calls of the Serbs, Belgrade and the international community for peace, and at the same time the beginning of the election campaign of Kurti's Self-Determination for the early parliamentary elections," a Serbian List statement said.

During the implementation of this illegal anti-Serb violent action, the Serb List added, "Kurti's phalanxes" were deployed in the streets of all municipalities in the north and in the immediate vicinity of schools and kindergartens where classes were being held.

"Only a day after the visit of a high-ranking US official (Elizabeth Allen) and the call for all issues to be resolved through dialogue and for Pristina to finally establish the ZSO (Community of Serb Municipalities) Kurti, as a true tyrant and autocrat, invaded purely Serb environments with rifles and violence and harassed Serbs, dissatisfied with the fact that in addition to abolishing the dinar, the right to medical treatment, elections, cultural and sports events, and that even to this day he keeps dozens of honorable Serbs in dungeons, he failed to frighten the Serbs and expel them from the centuries-old homes," the statement reads.

The fact that EULEX and KFOR members were silent observers of this illegal and violent action in the north of Kosovo and Metohija is also worrying, the Serb List said.

"We call on international representatives, especially those who advocate for peace in these areas, to urgently stop dictator Kurti and protect peace and the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija," the statement added.

Members of the so-called the Kosovo police, armed with rifles and wearing bulletproof vests, on Monday raided Postanska Stedionica branches in Kosovska Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposavic, as citizens were trying to withdraw their pensions, social welfare and other funds, a Tanjug correspondent from Kosovo and Metohija reported earlier.

Meanwhile, the so-called the Kosovo police announced that its members "closed six units of the Postanska Stedionica Bank in four municipalities" in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, based on "a report by financial monitoring institutions."
