Chinese PM Li Qiang congratulates Serbian counterpart Vucevic: Strategic partnership functions at high level

Chinese Prime Minister Li Jiang has congratulated Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic on his election to the post, stressing that the strategic partnership between China and Serbia, under the strategic leadership of the heads of state, is functioning at a high level.
Li recalled that the two sides have worked together to achieve a series of significant achievements in areas such as economy and trade, industrial investment and infrastructure, as well as deepening cooperation in new areas such as scientific and technological innovation, digital economy and "green" transformations that have contributed to internal development and brought tangible benefits to the two nations, China Radio Intentional (CRI) has reported.
"I am ready to cooperate with you to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, deepening mutually beneficial cooperation and raising Chinese-Serbian relations to a new level in the new era," Li's message read.
On Thursday, the National Assembly of Serbia voted to elect the county's new government headed by Prime Minister Milos Vucevic.
The new government has 31 members, including five ministers without portfolio.
