Mario Simovic (44), who was this morning shot and killed in Cacak, was in the past convicted of two cases of extortion, four cases of lending money with monthly interest rate of 10 percent, two cases of fraud and illegal trade, and he and his parents were also accused of money laundering.

In 2012, the Higher Court in Cacak ordered the temporary confiscation of his and his family's entire property.

Simovic and his parents Ilija and Svetlana were then deprived of three houses, three apartments, two hospitality venues, a company, five cars and six lots of land in Preljina.

Simovic was killed today in the well-known factory Marteks in Cacak.

The police launched a search for a suspect, Dejan Popovic.

We have learned that Dejan entered the company and riddled Mario with bullets.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Cacak was informed about the case.

The shooting happened around 10 o'clock this morning.
