Dodik: RS will not implement resolution on Srebrenica
Dodik said that Lagumdzija violated the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina in an attempt to demonize the Serbs and inflict historical guilt and disgrace on them
The President of RS Milorad Dodik said that the RS (Serb Republic, Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH) will not implement the resolution on Srebrenica, if it is adopted by the UN General Assembly.
Dodik added that he believes that the National Assembly of the RS will decide today that Zlatko Lagumdzija cannot be BiH's ambassador to the UN and will ask that he be recalled.
Dodik said that Lagumdzija violated the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina in an attempt to demonize the Serbs and inflict historical guilt and disgrace on them.
Speaking about the big rally "RS is Calling You", Dodik pointed out that the unity of the Serb people is saying that enough is enough with pressure on RS, but that objectively that pressure will continue.
He stated that Bosnian Muslims misused the mechanism of international representation of BiH to individually and without the decisions of the (joint) competent authorities, present the initiative for the adoption of a certain act in the UN.
According to Dodik, this is not harmless, and that all their stories are always the same, and always lead to the ultimate goal - the demonization of the Serb people.
"If they wanted it to be objective and serve some kind of reconciliation, they certainly wouldn't have done it. They would have tried to find some neutral international commission that would do something. They never wanted that. They never wanted to make a report on the suffering of the Serbs in Sarajevo, which was requested by the international community, then given up on," said Dodik for RTRS.
He reiterated that the mechanism of international representation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was destroyed because Bosnian Muslims believe that the most important thing is to present themselves and show "their truth."
"That's why they always find their traditional friends. It doesn't take much for Germans to sponsor (a resolution on genicide) saying someone else is to blame, because in that way they run away from their own responsibility," stressed Dodik.
He said that no one disputes that a crime took place in Srebrenica, but crimes against Serbs also took place, adding that everything possible is being done to stop the adoption of the announced resolution.
"Especially Serbia, which is a member of the UN and can do that through those mechanisms," said Dodik, SRNA reported.
