Banjsko Polje "under siege": A large number of police officers at the scene
Some are plainclothes, while others are uniformed
It could be said that Banjsko Polje is today "under siege," says Telegraf's reporter who is in this settlement.
"A large number of policemen are here. The police go from house to house. Some are in uniform and some are plainclothes," says our reporter.
Earlier, fire trucks were seen in front of the police station in the nearby town of Bor. They departed with flashing lights, our journalists reports.
2-year-old Danka's mother told the police last Tuesday that the toddler disappeared as she turned away to give a drink of water to her other child, and the search has been ongoing since that day.
A clue that brought the whole of Serbia and the region to its feet arrived from Vienna - a video showing a little girl who resembles Danka, accompanied by two Romanian women.
A Telegraf.rs team is currently in Vienna, and last night they visited the spot where the video was taken.
For the first time, the Serbian version of Amber Alert called "Pronadji me" ("Find Me") was activated last week in the wake of the disappearance of the child.
