Croatians come to Belgrade to ask Djokovic about Ivanisevic: He gives them this cool response
They did not get the answer they expected
The news about the termination of cooperation between Novak Djokovic and Goran Ivanisevic, as his coach, has been all over the front pages of European sports media these last couple of days.
The exact reasons are still unknown, although many are speculating, and the Serbian ace, who is in Belgrade and training on the courts in Kosutnjak, was not in the mood to expand too much on any of it.
Reporters from the Croatian portal Slobodna Dalmacija came to Serbia to talk to Nole, but he did not want to provide additional explanations.
"I can't make any comments now, I'm sorry that I won't give you what you're looking for, but thank you for coming. You are welcome to stay here, but Goran and I have ended our cooperation. You saw the (social media) post, so..."
He added that Ivanisevic is his great friend.
"Goran is a member of the family, a friend forever and it will remain like that. Professionally, we simply parted ways, having achieved a historic result - the most trophy-winning player and coach ever, so I think in that sense, it's all been said," Novak told Slobodna Dalmacija.
