Huge animal tracks were seen in the snow on Mount Tara.

Based on the prints, animal experts claim that it is a bear.

They were left by an adult animal that has a paw print as big as the hand of a grown man.

The brown bear is a symbol of Tara, where these animals have their largest habitat in Serbia.

The number of brown bears on Tara is considered optimal. Based on DNA analysis, the presence of around 60 individuals of this species has been confirmed, but the realistic assumption is that there are more.

However, they are rarely seen by humans because they are afraid of them.

However, the National Park Tara offers bear watching from photo-checks where you stay for three to four hours, and anyone interested in this adventure can contact the Park's Info Center.
