Serbian national football team departs for Russia, see photos from the airport
The friendly with the Russians is scheduled for Thursday evening
In the early hours of Wednesday, the Serbian football team departed for Moscow, where they will play a friendly match against Russia on Thursday!
The squad traveled to Moscow on a regular flight, while a few problems arose in the lineup over the past days. First of all, there is Nikola Milenkovic, who left the training camp to return to Italy to attend the funeral of the general director of Fiorentina, Joe Barone.
Also, Dusan Vlahovic, Matija Nastasix and Aleksa Terzic are not in the team, so head coach Dragan "Piksi" Stojkovic subsequently included Filip Mladenovic.
It is already known that the stadium in Moscow is sold out and that there will be around 25,000 fans in the stands. As part of the preparations for the European champions, Serbia's team will then go to Cyprus and play a friendly there on March 25.
